Then I have to log in, *** that.

Ionno, maybe something is up with my browser, cause mine is basically rearranged and minus the menu on the left. That's weird... Ramuh.Scizor said: Fenrir.Terminus said: It's barely any different. Settle the *** down. Are you looking at the same site the rest of us are... he is, the rest are exaggerating Fenrir.Terminus said: It's barely any different. Settle the *** down. It's much faster, more compact, just as easy to navigate as it was before, etc and all people can do is *** because "omg different bad no!". Not to *** mention you can change it back to monaco(old style) in user preferences. Christ. Phoenix.Baelorn said: faster Lakshmi.Galvaya said: if nobody noticed, if you're a registered user, you can change the default skin, to its previous monaco under user->preferences->skins tab-> Monaco. and save. lol yay This change is disgusting. Ew. Who thought this was a good idea?
It's almost like they got SE to redesign their interface. Gone are the convenient menus on the left, replaced by a searchbar and links that blend into the *** background
I guess there was more changes than just the looks - my bad. I thought that's what every was upset about.
Asura.Catastrophe said: It's more than that, a lot of people lost tons of work because of the deletions of their userwikis I wasn't aware that they deleted any pages. Just annoys me when people *** about a perfectly functional UI change when, if they don't like it, they can change it back. maybe cause they didn't realize you can? Stop being an ***

Stop being an *** This. :P At least they offered apology (the two who jumped on everyone without knowing all the information) and informed us we can switch back to the old interface (which -I- didn't know), which is more than a lot of the internet would bother to do. Why must people fix something that isnt broken!!!
Sarah MANley, she is a jerk!
Asura.Catastrophe said: I think it might be suggestive that they migrate ffxiclopedia onto a new host. Jaerik? Scragg? Since you mentioned WoWWiki I went ahead and looked up an article and found this: "Moving will split the community. Wikia, essentially, owns WoWWiki. All content will stay as-is and can be edited by users who do not make the transition. New users will still be driven to the site from search engines, players who are not informed of the move, and players who do not wish to move. This will create two wiki sites. Best case scenario is that the Wikia site slowly dies due to lack of activity, but both sites will likely survive because of fans and editors who want them to survive (if the Transformers Wiki is any indication http://tfwiki.net/ http://transformers.wikia.com/ ). Eventually, the more popular wiki will rise to the top of search engine results." This sounds troubling for all wiki owners (not just WoWWiki) that don't like the new skin. With Monaco gone in November, brace yourselves for the shitstorm. In all honesty, you'd think they would at least let you adjust the template/column width. With a widescreen theres so much damn empty space it drives me nuts. I don't want fkin trees and ***in the BG.
I want my dead screen space back! ::EDIT:: Nevermind. Someone already bitched, lol. Quote: The skin has a fixed width and puts all articles and images into a very narrow section, roughly 2/3rds of the "usable" space of a page, which is roughly one half to 2/3rds of the total page space when viewed with resolutions with a width higher than 1440px. Naturally, the larger your resolution, the more empty space there will be to the left and right. |
