It's much faster, more compact, just as easy to navigate as it was before, etc and all people can do is *** because "omg different bad no!".

Not to *** mention you can change it back to monaco(old style) in user preferences. Christ.

It's almost like they got SE to redesign their interface. Gone are the convenient menus on the left, replaced by a searchbar and links that blend into the *** background

I guess there was more changes than just the looks - my bad. I thought that's what every was upset about.

Just annoys me when people *** about a perfectly functional UI change when, if they don't like it, they can change it back.

At least they offered apology (the two who jumped on everyone without knowing all the information) and informed us we can switch back to the old interface (which -I- didn't know), which is more than a lot of the internet would bother to do.

Since you mentioned WoWWiki I went ahead and looked up an article and found this:

This sounds troubling for all wiki owners (not just WoWWiki) that don't like the new skin.

With Monaco gone in November, brace yourselves for the shitstorm. In all honesty, you'd think they would at least let you adjust the template/column width. With a widescreen theres so much damn empty space it drives me nuts. I don't want fkin trees and ***in the BG.

The drop down menus on the top are a *** pain in the ***. If you accidentally scroll over the ***that has nothing to do with ffxi you have to move your mouse half way down the damn page to get it off the screen.
