The folks over at FFXIVCore have already got a few links for the patches and other downloads up.

Several sites have now been sent C&D notices. FFXIVCore was one of those hit.

I also have a direct download available for the FFXIV retail client (.ISO) and a torrent, but I will not link them here or on my site. I am trying to avoid a C&D notice myself. If you need the client download for a buddy pass or something, send me a PM.

Thanks for the updates. I'll be picking up my copy at midnight so if I get the chance to I'll let people know if the patches work, in case someone doesn't beat me to it first.

I got the patches from a megaupload link posted in a BG thread.

If they're the same files as the patches from FFXIVCore, then I can confirm that they work just fine.

The first link in the OP has several links for the EU client (under the spoiler).

I don't have the torrent hosted yet.

Edit: Though it's useless until you have your code. It just lets you go ahead and install the client/patches while waiting on the arrival of your copy.

I'll just wait on the client, don't wanna risk the EU and NA versions being different and going through all that only to have to uninstall it.

I'm testing it soon as I can =D

I'll be installing it on my desktop remotely so it's not like I'll be able to install on my laptop with the disc.

Krizz ill donate when my gf gets back with card, but can you put the torrent file that the FFXIVCore has up on your website? That would aid in a bit instead of the direct download, even with a download accelerator, its much faster to torrent

anyone having a video issue? mine looks good standing still but then when you move its all choppy and i have a mullet. running a ati 4850 1gig video card with catalyst 10.9 drivers and stuff turned off or on low

I've heard the 10.9 CCC drivers are borked. Had a friend revert back to 10.8 and it worked just fine. Might want to try that first and see, otherwise I don't know what could be wrong. :\

arggh cant seem to get anything working, cant get an actual download, i can get the patches, but the FFXIV client eludes me.. am i missing something important? :O

Dont put downloaded patch in correct folder before you checked files in the FFXIV loader. It will cause them to be overwritten.

1. Open FFXIV loader and let it check files and start download the patch.
2. Cancel.
3. Move your downloaded patch to correct folder
4. start loader again, let it check and it will install the patch.

And you save alot of time

I got a friend code, i was told i can download a client to play the game, instead of having to go out and buy the thing, or using someone elses disc. So what im lookin for is the actually game, if thats possible. =/
