Another 3 wishes:

1. Hurl Stephenie Meyer into another universe. Preferably one with dinosaurs or some such. If she some how makes it back, at least she'll have something interesting to write about.

2. Have every copy/publication/movies/etc. of any of her "books" disappear. I want the disappearances to be quite flashy and memorable.

3. Video cameras filming all the butthurt fans as they rage and most likely commit suicide. The videos will then be compiled and posted over the internet for all the sane people to enjoy.

1) Unlimited money. Pretty much a no-brainer.
2) Immunity to all disease and murder with a life span of about 2,300 years. I'd say immortality, but that ***will probably get old after a few millennia.
3) Flight. 'Nuff said.
Why 2,300? seems pretty pacific.

Why do people presume that eternal life is a curse? Hell if you could fly AND not die, you could explore space deeper than any known living being out there. That seems fairly time consuming alone. You may even find other beings out there with the means of eternal life. Hell, first thing I'd do is fly straight into the center of the sun just to see what it looked like.

It's along the same lines. If anything, the sun would destroy your pain sensors in a matter of milliseconds once you got so close so it wouldn't matter.

well the human mind is not infalable. If you could live forever I don't think your mind would stable forever. I guess you could also wish to be immune to insanty but santy is hard to define so the wish probly wouldn't work the way you'd want it to.

I sure wouldn't want to have eternal life if im too unstable to enjoy it.

The sun would also destroy your corporeal being, so I don't know what's happening anymore. Can you be immortal without really being?

I'm going to assume you know the definitions to both immortal and death. If we're assuming you're immortal, then you're not prone to death by any means. So one could hypothetically fly into the sun and not disintegrate into nothing as this would go against the very definition of immortal.

Well for starters, I wasn't annoyed. I was just wondering why everyone jumped to the same conclusions about something with limitless possibilities. Too many assumptions made concerning the matter and admittedly, I too, have my own assumptions. I'm just trying to find the silver lining in the matter I suppose.

As for your comment, it is of sound reasoning. However, the human brain is more complex than we give it credit. I believe Doctors have discerned that we only use about 10% of our brain's total power on average throughout our lifetimes. With infinite lifetimes, the brain could and most likely would adjust to such an endeavor. Adaptations or even evolving into something more suitable in the distant future to compensate for the lifespan changes.

I thought the whole "we only use 10% of our brain" bit was just a myth.

In any case not that I fully disagree with your statement but I don't think the brain would "evolve" in someone who was granted the ability to live forever. Evolution takes many, many generations to happen.
