Non-Conclusive Feather Step Testing

Very small sample size, tests done on fortifications, and had to count out my hits because of xbox lol.

Without feather step:
195 normal hits
54 critical hits
249 total -> 21.6% crit hit rate

With level 5 feather step:
212 normal hits
80 critical hits
292 total -> 27.3% crit hit rate

I understand that is is a small sample size and doesn't really mean much, but no one is talking about it.

Interesting. I would guess that it ends up either 5% (one per lvl) or 10% then. The real question for me then would be what will happen with equipment enhancing it. If its actually 10% maxed and equip were to double that effect it could end up very nice.

Yeah, generally the first step has a larger effect then the next four right? I figured 2% on first than 1% on following at 6% but can't really take anything from my test ;-;

Its still a great start tho. It would be great to see this enhanced. Tho I suppose its unlikely even with equip yet to come that it will ever reach 20% or higher, since it would make an alliance tear threw mobs:( But still. Wishful thinking!

Which would people rather have DNC throwing down? In abyssea I can get maybe 2 steps in. Box Step or Feather Step?

Feather, easily. Not much reason to use Box nowadays.

There's some mathy reason about it not doing much for people constantly critting which they should be if they have Razed Ruins, but if you're not running with people who have RR Box Step is probably close.

Perfect reason to do anything dnc related! and most things in general
