Thinking about the Marksmanship idea...
if they DO change it to having Marksmanship effect QD navarch's choker just got cooler. As already said I tend to use a Fire Staff when shooting for TP / ratking so I guess it adds a little benefit to those fire shots.

As far as granting mobs TP goes, Jump doesn't so I wouldn't fasten the noose around your necks just yet.

Something ur all missing that worries me greatly is now we get tp from QD, does the mob as well? Gonna make some solo's either not possible or alot rougher if SE go down that path.
I think this is really to appease the rng/cor and tempt them into a /cor rather than other alternatives, cuz lets face it, their gonna be the ones full timing a vulcans staff rather than swapping out for QD. When hit by a spell that does direct damage, enemies gain 10 TP. I'm pretty confident this is a nerf for QD. You could mention Jump but how many drg's do you see solo'ing tier 2-3 vnm's with jump? I think this is SE's way of creating job "balance" which they love to do so much. Personally i dont care. If QD gives TP equal to a regular ranged attack, my 4-hit with an 11 sam roll just got super sexy. As great or faulty as this sounds for a QD I think we're overlooking a serious "nerf" here. As many QD COR know, one of the most beneficial aspects of damaging mobs using QD, is the fact that it does damage without feeding the mob any TP. If this update changes the way QD works in terms of it gaining the COR TP, as well as Marksmanship skill; it would only make sense if it will also feed the mob TP aswell. I realize they don't necessarily mention it in the update notes; however, like any other move that gains the user TP in the game, it also feeds TP to the mob aswell.
This could render it much more difficult to QD burn higher level NMs (such as Ovni) since it will now be giving the mob TP. Did some tests as Cor/Bst on lesser colibri. Fired a thunder shot then charmed it and checked its tp. Confirming quick draw does not give the mob tp. I gained 16tp for 1 quick draw which is consistant with tp gain for a ranged attack. A lucky samurai roll netted 22tp per quick draw so it is affected by store tp.
