Not really, just pointing out a mistake you may have made so you wouldn't get flamed on by the lower intelligent people (aka Malekith, Thunderblaze, etc.)

Wanted to clear that up.

Still Friends? ; ;

Been using this system for about eight months now, nobody's paid to do Dynamis for eight months except for Tavnazia.

It's not a problem if we're not. Nobody complained before, everyone was quite content paying ~40k per run to enter Dynamis. It's just an added bonus, that's all, and it's certainly a good appeal when we need to recruit.

Bolded contridicted each other. That was the mistake.

Guess we aren't still friends -.-

Off topic, but are the bazaars still in rolanberry on Garuda?

Ya, most of them are; others are inside Jeuno but it's kinda hard to find them with all the lag and without a /seacom posted which many don't.

That would suck. On Uni all bazaars moved inside to Upper Jeuno. Spread all over the zone.

The funny thing is that most dyna ls do sell their currency for less than the going rate. Its the buyers/resellers that are keeping the price high.

There are numerous people who watch bazaars and as soon as they see a low priced item, they will buy it and then stick it in their bazaar for a higher amount.

So lets say the OP starts a new dyna ls with the idea of selling his currency for a lot less. What is to stop someone from buying him completely out of stock then reselling it the next day at the usual rate.

People make millions of gil doing this.

Stop whining about the prices, when I started my relic I was paying 60K per single and by the time I finished they were at 10K.

If you can't beat them, join them.

Start looking for that bargain dynamis money and reselling it!

you know actually giving them competition (using the same tactics) might actually lower prices as crazy as it sounds...

its true though, but it might also increase prices also, seeing as there is more demand for them than orignially thought.

Plus, all this resell is just going to make gil change hands over and over again, without having any use for it.

You are correct that it might go up in price. It all depends on how much people are actually willing to pay.

I'm not sure where you are going with this. Gil will change hands a lot, but the original seller will have his gil to do with whatever.
The reseller will have his extra gil to buy more and resell more to turn more profit.
The final buyer will have his overpriced currency to make into whatever he's doing with it.

Most of the resellers have a set limit they won't buy things at. There's always the risk of the market taking a dive with 1 update/patch, so you have to play this market carefully.

Middle men always charges more for products. All they are basically are people who find the buyers and the sellers, thats all they really do. Money won't increase or decrease either way, its like having one person buying all the currency and then selling them all at a slightly higher price.

Yeah, that does describe middle men pretty well, but the middle men do turn a profit. It just happens to be in the millions.

They can use their profit to turn more profit, or they could, you know, buy my haub+1.

Ok Korpg, maybe its just a simple misunderstanding of the topic.

Your right in the fact that there is no new gil introduced because of this.
But I am also not debating that this is introducing gil into the economy, so I do not see what point you are trying to bring across.

Unless you mean something else about money not increasing or decreasing. If you could clarify, I would appreciate it.

Mmm, sounds like a great idea. I would love lower currency prices.

However, there are many more people like me out there who are very close to completion and are willing to buy them at any price. :D

Can't stop us :\
