Anyway. I have a question about those white/blue shield emblems. I assume thats the party icon?

That is the Linkshell icon next to their names.

Quick question Eous, how customisable are the Linkshell icons?

Haha that's a pretty difficult question to answer...

Uhh

More customizable than you'd expect from SE, but still not very customizable in comparison to other MMOs, I'd say.

But, there are lots of different shapes, background colors and foreground colors that you can mix and match to make a pretty neat icon, I just wish they looked a little more 3D, instead of the flat icons we got now. Hopefully they'll change them up a tad on release.

That's a satisfying answer, thanks. From all my knowledge on XIV, I actually haven't heard a peep about Linkshells sadly. The best customisation I've ever seen for something like this is Guild wars, where you customise an entire cape, and everyone in the guild wears it with that pattern. :D
