#18 and I genuinely want my time back for watching this crap.
Crap may be too harsh a term, and by youtube standards, it's nifty as Sect said, but not anything like it was hyped up to be by the title and OP.
Out of respect for Flion's opinion on such matters, I watch on...
It sounds like it just might not be for you. Shouldn't be insulting to anyone. I laughed at the scary part of
The Ring, amused that everyone was terrified by a girl coming out of a television. Not that you didn't laugh at it either, I don't know; just saying that different things freak out different people.
Personally it's not freaking me out at all. I'm just watching it as a fairly interesting story with patchy camerawork. I view on for the next plot point, not the next scare.
People always said that when she came out the TV, that that was the scary part of the movie. Honestly, the scariest ***about the movie, to me, was the video itself. If you look up something like, "Subliminal Messages" on Youtube, you can see similar stuff. The way they presented it in
The Ring just made my skin crawl.
As for her coming out of the TV.. meh. You knew the guy was going to die, so you pretty much expected something freaky to happen.
If you got more freaked out at the film in
The Ring, then you're probably more like me and would get freaked out by the movie,
Audition. About thirty minutes in, there's this skin-crawl, eye-watering scene that just freaks me the hell out.
As for this film, meh. Not too scary, just kind of eerie. It does however, make me want to play around with a camera in my place and do some video editing with mirror reflections. Then make it like I didn't notice, and I'm just posting my place on Youtube. Then people start to notice some weird faces and ***in the mirrors which would eventually lead to something like this film.
