Now if I had a hide function I would use that pretty often.
But again both aren't really necessary for me.

this forum isn't the point of the site anyway. That means people would visit once a week at least.

It takes only one click to ban another anon account. Of course, it then becomes a war of attrition between my one click, and the other side's many clicks to keep setting up proxies.
I usually win that battle. I just don't like to engage in it unless I absolutely have to.

Oh wow blocking someone completely removes them. I just figured you would see that the person wrote something, but then you would get a message saying "Post blocked" or something list that. I like it this way much better...don't even have to see that people posted.

to say i'm argumentative to a fault is an understatement
i've been late for school or work before because someone was wrong on the internet and i just had to get in one last post to prove it
for me, the help this will give me in my quest for interweb restraint is more than worth seeing swiss cheese threads
i think different people will get different mileage out of the feature, but the beautiful thing is you get to choose whether or not to use it

once i hit the block button, i'd much prefer not to think about it at all

But regardless, maturity would make both pointless but I don't see anything like that happening here or anywhere anytime soon in regards to the tubes.

But they just went over the reason why that would be useless. That means you still somewhat care if they post. If you don't care for them, you'll completely block the said person, which totally makes sense.

EDIT: If you see someone quote them then you will care they posted anyway so the point is moot.
It would be the case for both since Quote just copies text. >.>;

This quote is an example of why I think the quote function would work well with some sort of spoiler function added in...lol.

You should notice a "block" link on every forum post. Clicking it will completely hide posts made by that user or character.
I made a simple block list manager that lists the people you block and the ability to unblock them. It will appear on the members menu as "Block List". I plan on making this page more powerful but it should be sufficient for now. Edit: You can now add characters or usernames from the block list page.
