Oh and three areas (don't remember the names but it's the lvl 70-75, 70-80 and 80, might be even more areas) don't have Those hearts. Also gooooood luucckk with them. Risen. Risen everywhere. You will have to fight your way to each place sometimes. Mostly cuz there's so many around that you need to do it so you don't die lol
Also leveling isn't that bad in this game. If you just want levels then do events. Events give damn good exp. In the area I'm at, you get 12k+ exp for events. Even bronze gives you 10kish.

Ha this is a lot easier for thiefs because of stealth healing ability, 25% speed signet and Clock and Dagger ( another stealth).
Just run around and when stuff agros you just out run it or hit stealth and keep on running. The hard part is there is so much garbage and stone everywhere its hard to get around sometimes or the POI is on another level or something. I wonder why they decieded not to put hearts in those locations.
There's tons more PoIs though. And tons of events. There's always a huge event up.
so at first I hated GS as warrior.. but then I realized how epic the 7 hit attack is.. I'm doing 2.5k-3k moves with it alone, at level 25.
One skillpoint away from being 3/3 on Orr zones... *** bugged :(

Mostly, you get better armor from mob drops. Karma vendors have armor too but I don't recommend it.

Not really worth worrying about your armor until 70+ tbh. Just keep your weapons updated every 5~10 levels or so and use whatever armor you find on monsters.
I usually update every 10 levels.
I had 5-10 armor until 25ish, then that armor til 40ish then that armor til 60 then 72 and now 80 lol
Also I finally found out how to use the rune *** (for the 4/4 crap on that rare armor) I thought I had to put the runes on the same armor, then i realized it's a set not stack-able upgrades)

Youll get plenty of armor/weapons from the mobs you kill in events or from finishing the story missions.

lol "***blue armor" will get you to 80 VERY easily... then farm for the good stuff.

For exploring or doing story missions, yeah it's ***armor. You die quickly thanks to it.
For just getting to level 80, sure, it'll work out.

No.. maybe its job dependent, but as a thief I got to 80, explored over 50% of the map before I just decided to stop and ding 80 and im current on the final story mission. The only armor I have ever gotten that wasnt from a random drop was the body Dracondria mentioned to use as a skin. While I may have had some trouble on a few story missions it was never impossible. 90% of the time it was due to a bug of NPCs not following. But even soloing 7 Risen and the boss on one of the 70+ story missions (Trahearne glitched and wouldnt follow) was doable with shitty blue gear.
Edit: 7 Risen were all at once. Boss was seperate.

on my Elem, I upgrade armor every 5 levels, but I have it easy because I craft that armor since my cloth-craft is on par with my level, so I just make what I need, assuming I don't find something better out in the field. (cause Elem is squishy as ***).
Ranger, I dont really upgrade armor unless I find it, rarely die as well, unless I get careless while exploring, or go join a crazy event without backup. My Polar bear does a really damn good job at tanking mobs, can even hold down 3 at the same time without a problem as I just wail at them. heck, I can just afk and bear can just kill agro by himself lol.

And yeah it was the skrit path. That *** queen. Urgh. She, herself, wasn't what was bad. It was the douchbag posse that were with her that agroed alongside her. I had to kill some of those first then kite cuz the queen came out of *** nowhere.
