I am just now trying to pickup playing ffxi again after a year or three. Does anybody out there know what server has the highest population during US hours?

To be honest, you'd need a crap load of study and stuff like that to know, I'd just go with either Asura or Lakshmi, Asura seems your best bet right now according to here.
