Came up with this while I was killing Buffalo for my dagger trial. This is *not* meant to be some benchmark for damage. All in all after this combo is done damage is about the same as a regular DNC solo skillchain. This is for fun to see how I can use a little bit of everything.

Super-Special-Awesome-Ultra-Hyper-Giga-Max Combo!(Mk. II)

Have all your timers ready to go! You are going to use most of them! Be at 5 FM (Finishing Moves) and 200% TP to start!

1. Presto
2. Building Flourish (5 FM > 2 FM)
3. Step of choice (I use Box Step... 2 FM > 5 FM)
4. Sekkanoki
5. Climactic Flourish
6. Evisceration
7. Pyrrhic Kleos
8. Super-Special-Awesome Darkness!
9. No Foot Rise > Reverse Flourish > Meditate

And there you have it! In the end you wind up with 135% TP plus whatever you got from WS's and misc. swings for with which to cure peoples.

Cuz if something is worth doing wrong, it's worth doing it to excessive levels!

So how much overall damage did you do? I'm assuming you hit close to 3k for it to be super-special-awesome-ultra-hyper-giga-max.

The best I've done so far with that skillchain is 2.5k with attack food and all I did was have STP gear + haste samba up.

Lol... that made me giggle a little bit but I feel yah... WS sets often are the harder ones to build...

Anyway, my only critique is at the end, you should do meditate first since it's gradual TP over time whereas Reverse Flourish is instant. You might be able to do a 3-part combo into darkness for a stronger darkness skill chain or such... Idk much about dagger WS's since I don't use THF or DNC but if there's a way to make your super special awesome ultra hyper giga max bombo an EPIC SUPER SPECIAL ULTRA HYPER GIGA MAX COMBO, it'd be worth it.

Hmmm.... Mk III

1. Presto
2. Building Flourish (5 FM > 2 FM)
3. Step of choice (I use Box Step... 2 FM > 5 FM)
4. Sekkanoki
5. Climactic Flourish
6. Meditate
7. Evisceration
8. Dancing Edge
9. No Foot Rise > Reverse Flourish
10. Evisceration
11. Super-Special-Awesome Darkness!

My damage sucked but maybe a better dancer could try this out and see if it's the bizzomb or not.

Honestly... you could set up two Evis/Pyrrhic Skill Chains by the time that one skillchain is ready.

Here's somethings about that set-up. Building flourish and climactic flourish both affect critical hits. However, you'd probably be better off just using only climactic flourish for a garanteed critical hit and just forget about step 1-3. I'm still not sure which is better. Climactic would've made building flourish useless if it made every hit of a WS critical.

Then, you might mess yourself up doing the No Foot Rise/Reverse Flourish step. That's really risky especially if you miss a hit between DE and the second Evisceration.

I guess if you time all that right though... you could get anywhere from ~2k damage to close to ~4k damage which is overkill for the type of mobs you'd be soloing(unless it's buffalos XD). Like... you'd never want to do use this set up if you were soloing a NM or something like that.

I'll go try this out when I get SAM40 though ^^

Try this on for size:

-Before engaging the mob use Presto and Saber Dance and have full haste gear on(watch your daggers fly).
-Step, Step = 5FM( I would use quick step)
-Apply Haste Samba
-Switch to Store TP Gear and some WS modifiers.
-Evisceration
-Reverse Flourish
-Pyrrhic Kleos
-No Foot Rise
-Haste Gear again
-You're good to go again assuming the mob isn't dead by now

Look forward to hearing some results Tristean ^^

Yeah it is a really wasteful combo lol just for goofing. So far I pulled it off once, and thats because conserve TP kicked in.

I took out 1,2,3,5 and saved meditate for a simpler 3 part.

Evi 371
DE 461
SC 320 Dist.
Evi 537
SC 933 Dark.

Like I said my WS set is basically Warwolf belt and AFv2 at this point so it SUCKS.

I havent had a chance to test this out yet but...

-continue as you went up to sekkanoki
>Climactic flouris (do this immidetly following an attack round to save the crits)
>No Foot rise
>Evisceration
>meditate (just so it gets started dont wait on it)
>dancing edge
= Distortion (what 75%ish WS damage?)
>Reverse florish (why you NFRed earlyer)
>Evisceration
= Darkness (3 stage for 150% before what ever our SC bonus damage is)

In theory this should work, it is doubtful it would be practical but might be worth it just for fun once in a while when you want to blast some mob a new one...

Again this is in theory havnt had a chance to test it

This is also why saber dance is awesome. If you're scared the conserve TP won't trigger and/or you don't have Store TP gear... you can always get the nicely procing double attack from saber dance.

edit: GRATS ON HITTING 80!

I don't know anything about dagger WS's, but Shark Bite > Pyrrhic Kleos = Distortion > Evisceration = Darkness as well. Just another option depending on which are the hardest hitting ws's.

The other advantage to that combo though, is that if you can somehow get 4 WS's (or with reverse flourish, sekkanoki and a wing), you can put another Evisceration at the start to pump up the final SC damage another notch.

Evisceration > Shark Bite = Fragmentation > Pyrrhic Kleos = Distortion > Evisceration = Darkness.

That final SC is like, 2.5 times the closing WS. So if you can get decent numbers out of those ws's, it'd be pretty nice :o
