anyways, it was a hotel counter. I think if someone comes up to hotel counter you should attend them, yes? considering your doing nothing than looking through some papers and moving around your rolling chair here and there, yes?

Maybe you sound funny and and were being loud and he was trying to bang a hot chick and he couldnt concentrate, that has absolutely nothing to do with race :s

I can understand about the whole correcting thing being a bit upsetting, but did they word it as "did you mean x"
when it comes to customer service rather than halfassing it and kind of guessing what you say if you have an issue understanding seems right.
it's not like they are denying you service or are not taking your order.
if they had like denied you service, tampered with your food or something like that it'd be qualified as racist.
but attempting to understand a person when you have issues figuring out what they are saying is entirely understandable.
about the accent thing in the hallway?
maybe you were being loud and he was trying to sleep.
may have been a bit rude to hit on the accent thing.

but the way i see it is that you pretty much just experienced the rudeness of america.
it's not racist.
it's just people being rude.
i used to work fast food when i was younger and it didn't really matter who you were.
unless you had a northern european accent.
those amuse me and make me envious at times.

And I used to live in Florida and go to tourist hot spots all the time and I've never seen anyone having any problem with foreigners besides maybe trying to understand their language lol.

i dunno, doesn't it seem going up a counter and getting ignored seem like being denied of service? they obviously noticed me right there <.< ... and it was a hotel too... i just wanted some god damn forks to eat my chinese food -.- ... which they gave me when i went to the person at her side.

and yes people seemed to be halfassing when they were trying to correct me or something.

european accents are sexy <.< ... the ones that amuse me are british accents and i still love them.

I was being low and it wasnt late at night for him to come out rudely saying to shut the *** up that my accent was also annoying to him. my dad did come out and dragged me inside the hotel room avoiding this guy, he was too big for my dad to argue with, and i was only 13....

maybe they are having some family crisis and didn't think to help the customer.
you have to think that these people that serve you do have lives and are people rather than robots who are intent to scorn you for being hispanic.
i hear more racist remarks about indian people than anything.
but that's because i have customer that are like OH YOU SPEAK ENGLISH I AM SO GLAD I WAS TALKING TO THIS INDIAN GUY AND HE SAID HIS NAME WAS MIKE AND HIS NAME OBVIOUSLY WASN'T MIKE AND HE COULDN'T HELP ME BECAUSE I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND THEM.
usually people like this can't figure out which cord is their power cord and which is their ethernet cable.
i mean i can understand getting confused about the ethernet ***, but it's a *** rounded power cable it's the only one different don't unplug lan1 damnit.
edit: why didn't you heckle the delivery guy about the forks. come on when in america you have to be rude, it's a rule of thumb.

I've been ignored at random place I can by stuff many times before. It must've been racism even though they appeared to be similar race as me. Maybe they are one of those self hating whites or something

It sounds like PR has a big issue with being racially racist with racism.


But I think you'd have to go to 50 restaurants, 50 gas stations, and approach 50 drunk guys first before any of that happens because the racially racist rareness ratio is only 1:50 there. :p

The constitution reads "the pursuit of happiness." People forget the "pursuit" part. If people are not going to take the initiative and pursue this happiness then I am not going to take it on myself to give these people my hard earned money just so they can continue their non-pursuit.

You call names but you have no idea what you are whimpering about. I am a completely educated person who has grown up from poverty to doing ok now. The world doesnt promise health care. The majority of the world has none and they make it just fine.

Health care is a privilege. No where is health care promised in any law. If you are a kid, a working adult, or disabled then you are or can be covered by the government or a private health care provider. If you are a lazy-*** then you do not deserve it.

You need to learn the difference between privilege and right. It's your right to pursue happiness but it's a privilege to have health care. There are already laws in place that protect and give you care if you do not have it, which is great, but the basic every day care should not be given out to anyone who does not work for it. Sorry, but if your liberal *** wants to give all your money to this cause then go ahead but I will fight for my money.

I give to charity every week, what do you do? Dont answer that, I honestly do not care. You can call me a *** if you like but I am just not your average stereotypical, uneducated political spout off. I know my shiz and if you cannot handle that then please use your "pursuit" to educate yourself.
