Synthesis Commissions

Here's another suggestion that I wish could be implemented into FFXIV:

There should be Synthesis Commission boards placed in towns and cities where there are auction houses that crafters or gatherers can check. Anyone who has specific needs for a particular craft, ingredient, or material, can submit an order to fill. Crafters or gatherers can then contact the person requesting the specific items and make an agreement about price/delivery.

I think it'd help cut down on hours of /shouting for crafts to be done, and provide another avenue for networking that cuts down on hours of searching. Also, it helps with mitigating supply and demand levels without relying on the auction house.
