Despoil (THF Lv.77 Ability delay: 5 min.)
Steals items from an enemy while inflicting a status ailment upon it.
I seriously hope that they increased the steal rate with this Ability

Just sounds like you inflict a random status ailment on the mob, inflicting slow could be nice. From the way it's written, it sounds like it steals AND inflicts, so unlike Aura where it only applies if you steal, this one inflicts the status while also obtaining the item.
Question I'm wondering, is if the status ailment still applies if you fail the steal.. Though, 2 steals every 5 mins, Beastcoin farming just got better.

Hell yeah time to randomly inflict poison or some other DoT onto the mob.
I hope it is a little better than it sounds.
If it can inflict a decently potent Paralyze, Slow, Blind, Plague... Something that could be useful in a solo situation, it might be useful.
If its something useless like any DoT its going to be a problem on some solo situations or endgame situations where you might need sleep (Same reason some THF's need to switch out Mandau occasionally).
As with my BST update (<3) I'll hope for the best and expect the worst.

I was thinking that it would transfer a status ailment from you to the mob. May not work like that though.
Either way, I'm also curious to see if the ailment can succeed even if the steal fails.

They best not make it share recast with steal, that would be such a bitchy move.
Also they'd never make a steal 100% accurate, I can see it just having the same chance as steal. Just hope the steal + stuff work for it also

Very high accuracy on the steal would be nice, especially when doing dynamis =)

If it did share, depending on steal rate, and whether DoTs are in the ailment list.. May just be sticking to steal/aura x.x
I Cant think of any other job that has a shared recast time on two seperate JA =(

But THF gets Coll/Accom on a shared timer, so unfair =(

I don't Steal stuff to make money, so I'm only concerned with whether or not you can throw the debuff (whatever debuff that may be) on the mob with 100% accuracy.
I hope it removes a debuff on you and puts it on the target, rather than just picking a debuff at random to inflict. The name de-spoil, would hint at the removal of some debuff from the player. Then the items such as 'muting potion' would finally have a decent use.

@Raldo: Not sure where you got that meaning of De-spoil from, but Despoil means to destroy and strip of possession. Destroy = debuff, strip of possession = steal. It doesn't state any form of transfer in the currently given description, so I'm not holding out for removing debuffs from ourselves.

I hope it doesn't DoT. Will make it crap, Steal then you cannot sleep a mob, so far less usefull.
As far as I can tell Despoil is useless. It runns on the same timer as steal. So no you don't have two steals, and I have yet to get it to inflict any kind of status ailment that I can see. If the steal is successful you get your item. If the steal isn't successful you get nothing. Either way it says nothing about inflicting any status aliment nor does it show any kind of animation that i've noticed to show that it has.

they linked Jump and Spirit Jump to the same recast for DRG. . .
only give me 3-4 time attack down... work very rare... and look for steal items bad , maybee more bad... really 1 ***more for thief...
