He uses it to his advantage.

He'll shoot a Mortar in the sky, and you hit the Shield button to dodge it at the absolute most perfect timing, but the delay would cause the shield to activate too late and you get hit by it.

Same thing with Nikita missiles.

Yeah I have to do a huge strategy change VSing him. I have these problems with only a few other people I have VSed. One is Itachi. His Marth is extremely predictable, and very stupid things would be the only things that kill me.

Yeah if you get used to it a little more, online play wont be as bad. But it can affect your offline play.
