It wasn't a bad shot for them making SSBB. My biggest turn off about Brawl was the online play. I'm sorry, the online sucked SO bad. It didn't matter what type of connection you had. I even had issues where one of my, 1 out of the 4 people you wanted to play with COULD NOT even play at all, and they had a green connection.

The mind games stayed with the series, the tech level is really low, but that is just my imo. It's also like I'm comparing Halo to another Halo game. The skill level in games are going down and it is killing what I desire out of video games these days.
The only thing that I do find fun playing Brawl, is playing the "Brawl -" patch. I'm not sure if you tried it, but I do suggest you give it a shot. <(^-^ )

The changes just don't appeal to me. Like I said, I'm already a *** monster w/ Poke trainer, as well as Ike. Lol, changes like those would make the current competition non competition as far as I'm concerned.
Well, I believe Brawl (or any of the Smash Bros.) wasn't meant to be a hardcore game. It is a 'party game,' something that a bunch of friends can just play when there's a lot of people over. People took it to the next level themselves; can't blame the creators for stuff like that.
Also, the online has improved, but it's still not to the level of ps3 or xbox. Just sucks for me cause I leech net lol
I've yet to experience a flawless game over Wii online, lol. I have the best available connection on the planet and I'm still orange on the Wii. I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND
The online play was a very good idea, and probably the best thing they gave smash bros. It's just that most players like myself, get killed by the lag. Brawl is a game that you can't really have lag in - in order to play. Whether it be server lag, connection, TV, or button lag.
@ Tiger, I want to vs your Ike and PT with my Meta, Snake, DDD, Ike, and Sheik later. :D

Melee was a little too fast paced for me. SSB Was choppy, but I was a youngin' at the time, so it was good enough for meh.
