Been wearing these puppies for years.



They are of my own design. /bow

Aside from that, back in the dark days when I dual-wielded on WAR I re-textured Maneater to look like a red Tabarzin so it would be less boring, [it does not look like its icon >:|] and I think that was the extent of my forays into DAT modding. :P

I do, however, use several sexy DAT mods by other people to make the game much less boring, but I can't really post any of that on FFXIAH. :3

There are a bunch of .dat folders in your main ffxi folder. these folders contain all the in game information, animations etc. You can either download new .dats, or rewrite them and swap them with the original file in the ffxi folder.

if i ever play on PC, I'd probably swap the .dats for Asuran Fists to something along the lines of eithe DBZ or have the giant words pop up like POW! WHACK! PEW!

Hex edit the files directly, or load the textures into Paint/Photoshop. I forgot the name of the program though.

Used to have my moogle switched, but I can't post pics of it here <_<;;

ffxidats.com has been around for a while now, there's a .datmodding thread in BG Media, and some people just do their own mods and pass them around to friends.
