You know it's funny. I was a beta tester for the NA version of the PC release. And back then the level cap was 40, and there was no RoZ so rank 5 essentially was the end of the game. Back in the beta if you were able to hit level 40 (or 37, I can't remember) you were allowed to unlock their new job: Dragoon.

Of course the beta didn't last long enough for people to get the real feel for how strong DRG really was, but upon it's release, DRG was easily the strongest job available. Prior to the april TP nerf, they essentially were a one man zerg party. After that adjustment they started giving alot of DD jobs the same benefits DRG used to have until DRG became nothing special anymore. Now other classes such as samurai and warrior can do what DRG used to faster and more efficently. DRG never lost it's luster, it just got *** blocked so to speak. Hence the loldrg fad.
