These sell for less than cost because there is an HQ that is profitable. Every 95+ cook, and there are a lot of us, makes these for the HQ. The NQ are trash and as long as we get more on the AH than from NPC we'll keep dumping them. Sorry if that makes it hard to level cooking, but it's always been that way.
Naatdog kind of explains it and you guys rate him down. The reason these sell at a loss is because peole are synthing for the HQ. It happens for just about every popular HQ synth, the NQ usually sells under cost because the HQ makes up for it.
The people that it hurts are the ones that skill up on these items. Seriously though, the loss is so minimal compared to other synths and cooking is so cheap that people should stop complaining.
This is a good food when it comes to leveling cooking as you get 2 different methods for 62 and 64 just by switching which egg is used. But I wish people would stop undercutting these, they are easily worth 2.5k a stack and for people who are leveling cooking to help make money, this price drop is rubbish. A lot of people want Melon Pies, so lets stop undercutting them!
Someone please explain to me why these are being sold for so much LESS than what they cost to make!!! I refuse to sell these at this price.
I understand losing a little bit of gil if absolutely necessary to skill up cooking, but this doesn't make ANY sense at all.
People, PLEASE stop selling these for so cheap!!!
This isn't just a matter of undercutting someone else's price, but these are being sold at a major loss. Who can afford to continue to do this?
