Can't be sold to NPCs, but can be traded and bazaared.
Trading both Bloody Fang and Exorcised Skull to a ??? within Abyssea - Tahrongi will spawn NM Treble Noctules.

Dropped from "Blood Bats" Within Abyssea-Tahrongi.

I Can't attest for the drop rate, but probably ~20%. Killed 8~bats and got 2.

Its used to spawn some NM, Near the actual bats theres a ??? that says something like

"You sense an overwhelming Aura.. Maybe if you had a
Blood Fang
(Some Skull item as well)
something might happen"

Only was in there 30 minutes so i couldn't test the NM =( Had no Skull.
