These are used in the Abyssea-LaTheine quest "Fear of the Dark III". Just like the original Fear of the Dark quest, you turn in 3 to finish. And it's a simple way to increase your fame in Abyssea-LaTheine.

Just a side note as well. You don't have to zone to repeat this quest. Just keep trading him 3 over and over.

Drops from Clionid-type mobs in Abyssea - La Theine. Seems like a low drop rate, not tested with a THF yet.

Talk to Secodiand and get a quest requesting 3x of these. Reward 120 cruor. Repeatable? Yes.

I expect these to be expensive on the AH once people catch on .
