Mûsâ ibn 'Imran[1] (Arabic: ٰمُوسَى, translit. Mūsā) known as Moses in the Hebrew Bible, considered a prophet, messenger, and leader in Islam, is the most frequently mentioned individual.
Probably a reference to his staff that turned to Snakes facing the pharaoh sorcerers by god's will, which the sorcerers were baffled and believed in mosses's god. since it was not an illusion and then they got crucified by the pharaoh well that how the story goes i think.
