Actually this *can* replace Hagun if you get the maximum of +15 Store TP. With Usukane, you can get 5-hit build without sacrificing *any* haste, making this incredibly powerful.
I saw one with Acc +4, STP +15 and WS Damage +4%. That, on top of being able to WS 25% more often than Hagun trumps it IMO. You have to get insanely lucky though with the augments which is the crappy part.
I agree, this has potential, but its a hit or miss which sounds risky; Im not scared of this replacing Hagun (if youre lucky). That much sTP is awesome.
These bare weapons are not intended to replace the most highly sought after weapons like Hagun. They were designed to give players options aside from the 2-3 weapons per job that everyone uses.
Although this can be a competitor to Hagun... Hagun's ~20% WS damage bonus still trumps Rindo in the majority of situation.
Preferably you'd want a Store-TP 15+ with +WS DMG on it. If you can get a 5-hit, you increase your DoT damage by 25%, but your WS damage is at best 15% lower. If you assume the usual 60/40 spread on merit style mobs... Rindo can match.
However in endgame type play where the spread is more weighed on WS damage... Hagun will continue to be the #1 Great Katana you can use.
*NOTE merit mobs doesn't include Birds since you should be using Polearm anyways.
@ Wardens its a Quest GK you get it Augmented hense the bare stats the quest is Succor to the Sidhe, just looked at the NM pop in E.Ron(S) and got totally pwned by like 7 Mobs >.>
