This sword is best used with ground strike due to the Difference in damage between 200 and 300%. So with this you could do 3 300% Ground Stikes where with Balin's you could only perform 2 300%. Balin's is 10k Martial is 180. It's nice, but not required by all means.
In terms of mechanics this is identical to Hagun for GS DRK.
At 100TP the TP bonus adds 20% damage to Spinning Slash, at the cost of roughly 10% melee DoT (and lost ATK/ACC/Crit/etc) compared to other top tier Greatswords.
With a 7-hit /SAM (Rose Strap is key here) this is very strong, the decrease WS frequency with a /notSAM 8-hit might put more conventional GSes ahead, but /SAM this is basically the best available bar relic.
This *Can* be a good setup for GS Drks but honestly you end up sacrificing quite a bit of ACC just to 7-hit this weapon.
The most Optimal way to do it is Rose Strap/Brutal/Rajas/White Tathlum, which you lose 6 ACC from Fire bomblet, another 4 if you normally use Naglering(10 ACC total). With a scythe the ACC loss wouldnt be that big of a deal, but GS its going to hurt you alot more than you think, considering its not an A+ Weapon(269 Skill, 285 With Merits), I Guarantee you wont have Capped ACC on birds with this setup especially if you dont have diabolic Eye, or Great Sword Merits.
The other way to do it is Rose Strap/Brutal/Rajas/Ecphoria Ring/Chiv Chain, im not a fan of this way you give up even more ACC.
On Anything that matters I Stand by Rag >>> Nag >>> Subduer >>> Algol. M.Sword honestly would be decent for things like Nyzul Isle, but merits or HNM (Naglering >>> All on HNM) it will fall behind a decent ammount, and scythe is a stronger weapon on merits.
