My previous post about not mainhanding this stands..But with both iron ram pick and the magian axes available, this is horribly outdated no matter what logic one tries to justify it with.

Just a note about the Faulpie Leather, Synthetic Faulpie leather has to be crafted into it.

It's a 105 Leather Synth that uses distilled water, windy tea leaves, and a dark crystal.

Synthetic leather is sold by guild npcs.

also a drop from Overlord Bakgodek who spawns every 2-10 days in Monastic Cavern, he hits very hard, but can be trio'd with a nin or thf, brd and rdm or whm, possible duo with nin or thf and rdm, but would be a long tough fight, best to tank in Eva gear.

It's only got 46 DMG compared to higher-DMG axes. WS damage goes off the mainhand's DMG rating and ignores offhand. This is why something like Blau Dolch/Mercurial Kris is a winning combination because MKris's low DMG isn't applied.
