	It's a pretty boss Blue Mage weapon, and it's practically free. Beat Ifrit as 75 Ranger with Mandrew, 66 Drg and Bigneil, 59 Whm with Barfira and some luck (2 hour destroyed Mandrew but we resisted it slightly and lived) 2008-07-18 07:32:07

	"It belongs in every BLU's arsenal." Only if you're not meleeing and building SOLELY for STR. In that case, you might also be using /THF for SATA, so why not just use a fire staff + axe grip? The 36 base DMG on this weapon is what kills it's potential. The attack is nice and the STR is good for BLU spells as well as melee, but the staggering loss of base damage over other comparable endgame BLU weapons (see: Beast Slayer, Perdu Hanger) makes it fall hopelessly behind. No, STR+3 Attack+10 doesn't even come close to 16.67% higher base damage on Beast Slayer as an offhand weapon. It's a fine weapon for level 65, but is overshadowed by other far superior gear by 75. 2008-10-28 00:48:44
