excellent legs for WS and tp as long as your tank isn't totally worthless that dread spikes and third eye or shadows isnt enough to keep you from takeing too much damage . . . these should be glued to your legs until homam really
Great TP leg gear until Homam, great for WS until about eternity.
You could also use Dusk Trousers for TP, but its often more expensive and don't get the 4 STR that's important for WS.
If you do draw a lot of hate, and timer on Third Eye or Shadows are down, it's just a small effort to make a little panic macro to switch to Thick Breeches or whatever.
Though, I'd have to say that people should prioritise Dusk Gloves and Ledelsens before purchasing these, though.
Take extra care when using This, and any items that increase "Damage Taken". If you are hit with an ability that is similar to "Throat Stab" you CAN be killed by them, instead of reduced to 1-5%HP.
If you can't afford these pants yet for WS's, you can get the Fourth Schoss from the Bastok Campaign in the past until you get some gil. They still have 4 STR, but you would lose the 14 attack. If you can get a good deal on these legs though, definitely use them for your WS's.
Amazing on how many incredibly stupid people would sell this item at 10k when it costs so much more to craft! Common sense has apparently eluded these people!
I own these and they're decent for WS's but absolutley horrible if you pull any prolonged hate, and also poor for trying to solo anything... you will die very fast taking the added heat from wearing these! I'd say better overall choice would be Exorcist hose if your looking for STR.
