As there aren't many back pieces for DDs, or NIN early in the game, this is just about your only option.

Since it will (should) last about 37 or so, the ~20k is worth it.

Losing 1 AGI is worth saving 100k+ over the HQ. Great back piece for the price.

@Daimos Actually the Besieger Mantle is another option. It gives +2 attack and is a rather easy item to come by.
