Plain and simple if you are /blm and plan on nuking this will do better for you than almost anything else save Moldy Earring (Matk+5) and Novio Earring (Matk+7). Up to you whether its worth the trouble to get or the gil to spend.
This is an excellent earring for SCH/BLM in a meripo. burn party. Mobs die fast there so no need to worry about defense and if they don't, it's not a good meripo burn. Besides that, SCH has RR II. SCH/BLM is also good for Dynamis if you're gonna die anyway. Stoneskin and Blink rare ever save me anyway.
This earring is worth it when you're soloing WHM/BLM like a true badass. When nuking pets teh way a BLM would, this extra ele skill helps a bit. And after lvl 30 you have stoneskin, etc. P.S.: Don't judge me, I'm on a JPonry server, try lfp after 1am CST, gl! >.<
