Drop rate seems to be incredibly low, I killed him while farming Beastman Blood and Silk Thread at his spawn and came out 1/18 over the course of a few weeks with treasure hunter 1.
Not worth farming in my opinion, but if you're farming blood/thread you might as well try for it.
