LOL... reading over these comments I had to chuckle because everyone is griping because they can't wait a couple weeks to get their earring. Everything has to be NOW NOW NOW NOW... if you're going to complain it costs too much, then just wait, you've obviously done without the earring for this long, haven't you?
Give it a few weeks and you will see this items price begin to drop as people will not keep on wasting gil to buy one of these for a new earring every time they feel like a job change.
The price went up high because people who accidentaly discarded their earring/people who wanted a diffrent earring all went out and bought one of these as soon as they could, at that time; Demand was higher than supply, so of course prices are going to go up.
Now that most of these people have their earrings these ores will not sell as much, so prices will slowly drop again.
light ores should never drop below 100k they are not easy to produce but in ifrit some one keeps the price down to -70k at that price i need to sell 2 of them to get a stack of quivers at lvl
You WILL lose money on these. When I started trying to sell these 4 weeks ago they were going for 115-120k. Since that time I have spent over 85k in AH fees without a single sale due to the price being continually undercut. I've actually had to go private on sales to avoid AH fees to people I know who need them. I suggest you stockpile them for when a new use is found for them if you want to make any money. Otherwise, do your own farming to minimise the cost and AH at 50k (at current rate of price decline they'll reach 50k in about 4 weeks). Assuming you get 2 out of 10 pots, thats a 100k return on investment every 19 real-life days.
