Guys the reason you've been unable to sell your stacks for over two weeks (at the price you're posting them) is because the market CAN'T sustain this many in stock. If it could sustain supply this great the cheap ones would sell out and your stacks would sell. They are dropping off meaning that demand is being met and exceeded. Either there's been a great increase in supply or a great decrease in demand (guess which...)
look no matter how much you *** and cry about people undercutting its never gonna stop, take a look at the real world economy for instance and tell me undercutting doesnt exist?
I'm with Valkyrian people need to stop running around with their heads cut off and realize that the market will sustain that many in stock. Undercutting will only hurt you in the end.
People who says the price is too low... then why don't u go and buy them instead of selling, and go try to garden some ores instead with those cheap saplings! That's a lot of profit. ;) Problem solved.
I'd guess the reason they've become unstable is because of the spike in light ore prices (on account of light ore being used to get a new DM earring). Since the price of ore shot up, more people wanted to cash in, which meant more saplings were needed. People probably grew a bunch of saplings, meanwhile, the price of light ore fell from over supply, meaning less people wanted to make it, consequently leading to a bunch of people having saplings that weren't in very high demand. Cue price drop.
Guys, In all honesty. I see where your coming from about that RMT's undercut alot and it's bad for the economy. But look at it truthfully. Don't be ignorant about it. One RMT, yes ONE. Undercuts slightly. No big deal right? But don't blame it on the RMT's when it drops fast because think they did it once. Then you have the pathetic players who do it to sell stuff. And it happens more and more. I'm not saying I like RMT's and I'm standing up for them but I'm pointing out the facts. Pull your heads out your arses and realise it's not 100% the time RMT's who drop prices by a lot. They do one undercut and then the rest of the server undercuts them even more.
The Tree Saplings market is subject to big fluctuations. This is due to people wanting to make easy money, they get the information from a friend, try to make stacks and the AH gets saturated during weeks. When they see that it is not easy to sell them, they stop. Then the market comes back to normal.
If you are a long time gardener of these, just stop gardening them for a couple of weeks.
