Much the same as the Marduk's Tiara which gives MP +4%, this can give you more MP than Zenith Pumps +1 if you have >1375 MP without any feet armor equipped. Realistically this is most practical for WHM/SMN or SMN/WHM (Tarutaru!) for your max MP boost.
Personally I would only wear these to give you a large boost of HP for devotion or MP to buff your party.
Not only great for BLU breath spells. Incredible for max hp/mp+ gear sets with uses found in "Spirits Within," and boosting SCH's max "Sublimation" by a considerable amount.
If you can break 1500 HP without wearing footwear, these actually outperform Marine M/F Boots in terms of +HP and add a nice boost to MP as well. For Elvaans and Galkas, these are probably the best you can do for Max HP. It is also worth mentioning that if you can break 775 MP on a job that doesn't have access to Zenith Pumps (BLU, SCH), you're getting over 30 MP on your feet as well.
The price tag and the -1 inventory space are of course things to consider.
DRK can wear these for a reason. During a 2-handed zerg, assuming you have capped magical and JA haste you only need 12% from gear to hit cap. given that most DRK zerg builds put you well above 1500 hp these surpass homam feet easily in an HP build
