if nothing else this is a pretty cool recolor. The "Feathered Cape" Model always looked neat, It was just attached to terrible capes.
While this won't get much use outside of... quite obviously... a Fire Resist Build, its still a nice gesture.
I'm sure eventually we'll come across mobs that might need a fire resist Build once more? At the very least it could be nice for older content like Low-Man Tiamat or Early Bird Catches the Wyrm.
While not extravagant uses, Still nice. - All Jobs makes it much more flexible, and it is the best Fire Resist back piece in the game If i recall. This is more-so beefed by the absorbing of fire damage.
I'm surprised that with people mentioning all these times one would use a fire resist, no one mentions the one thing I would think of for a fire resist set: the T1 Zilart VW in Ifrit's Cauldron. :P
Probably good for any mob that spams the hell out of fire magic. Sometimes SE needs a poke in the eye. But +30 fire resist with all other bar-spells etc may come in handy?
would be nice if they would come out with a "occ obsorbs magic damage of the last element that caused damage" kind of cape...but this is better~ than nothing
