SMNs should be bitching about lack of useful job adjustments that makes them worthy of an alliance slot outside of PD or the occasional shock squall ***, not an eye candy cat avatar.

Thought the lack of communication about it was cause they had no idea themselves what pacts to give it to make it relevant at all lol.

We all know they'll be reusing the TP moves from the Cait Sith BCNM as pacts so that's no issue. Not to mention that SoA was supposed to be in the hands of a separate dev team from the one working on the usual maintenance updates.

Balance for new abilities must be considered as a whole, can't do it with only some guys on the side. The separate team would be only the one updating the stuff already planned like new Meebles dungeons.

And not sure the Cait from WotG has enough moves for a complete avatar.

It doesn't. Has only 5 when other avatars have 10 or more

Perhaps they mean to incorporate Atomos into the Cait Sith avatar? Would be a good way of giving you 2 avatars for the price of years of delays. :P

They really should have just made Odin and Alexander complete avatars....

Well I guess yeah that's part of how he manifests, but those are huge too. It's not like we could have a ton of those running around, like anywhere. I think they have to imagine avatar size as if a ton of people would use them at once. I think they are far too large.

Size is hardly an issue, they reduce all avatars in size anyway.

It's the second thing you said. One patch is for if you have the expansion and the other is for if you don't have it.

I assume if you don't have the expansion the patch just adds new jobs/armor/spells/abilities/etc and skips not needed things like new mobs/zones.

I find it funny that the game is easier for newer players and they'll never know what emergency and extended Maintenance is like.
