What's probably worse for me is that I remember people's birthdays by remembering dates that are less significant to most people than the birthdays.
My uncle's birthday? Same as my first dog's birthday. My brother's birthday? First day of the month after mine. Grandma's birthday? First day of her Zodiac sign's period. My wife's birthday? The day before Bilbo & Frodo's birthday. Mom & Dad's birthday (same day)? Same day, and my late grandmother's MAC Card pin number. My brother & sister in law (married couple, also the same day) -- April Fool's day! (and never was there a more appropriate birthday for those two...)

I want the house completely on electric because of it. We're not even that far out semiruralburbia, but that one damn bill is so easily forgettable since it's the only one not auto-paid. Edit: Also, technophobic, elderly family members, but they're not an inconvenience.
