Is your timeout over already? so basically what I'm getting from that survey is a lot of people are flat out lying.

Leviathan.Chaosx said: » Feminism has rules? Rule is when it doubt blame men. Quote: I went to pick up my kids from school the other day, my usual 3 o'clock date with the playground. My eldest son's teacher met me as I walked up, all atwitter with excitement. "We had some high-school seniors come in today to do some tutoring, and your son just really clicked with one of the boys," she told me. "He just talked and talked to him, and they got along so well." She knows just how painfully shy my son can be around new people and was just as happy as I was that he could find someone to interact with in a way other than hiding behind someone taller than he and sneaking glances around their torso. "Let me guess," I said. "Is this boy slim, dark-haired and very pretty?" Most people can't talk to people they find attractive, but my shy, shy boy is the exact opposite. "But... how did... how did you know that?" she asked. I know what my 9-year-old son's "type" of guy is. This is not something I expected to have knowledge of, not when my son was 9, and perhaps not ever. But that knowledge is in my brain anyway, and now I have to deal with it. And as much as it weirds me out, it is so cute to see him when the right kind of boy walks into his life. And please stop your internal monologue: This has nothing to do with sex. My son is gay, but he is also 9, so he is not the "lustful cockmonster" (thank you for that turn of phrase, Chris Kluwe) that so many homophobes try to paint all gay people as. My son wants to play video games with these boys. Throw a football with them. Maybe hold their hand as they walk back from the park after throwing that football. Offline

Also this: My 5-year-old digested the scene as an act of betrayal
You are taking a five year old to a movie they probably shouldn't see. fonewear said: » Still laughing at this article: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/lexi-herrick/things-better-than-a-boyfriend_b_5435700.html?utm_hp_ref=women&ir=Women Spoiled cause long: Offline

But this caught my eye: Quote: Would you BELIEVE that caffeine-infused panties perhaps does not, in fact, reduce the appearance of cellulite? Apparently this caught some consumers by surprise, and now Maidenform and Wacoal America are facing multiple lawsuits. fonewear said: » What if I told you FFXIAH and Huff Post are the same thing. I dare you to take a shot every time you see the word "rape" on Jezebel. You will be dead in like two minutes.

Jezebels catch line should be "If you have a penis, *** you" It is pretty rough. I tried to read some of the stuff. It is the most anti male site I've come across. They don't even bother hiding that they hate men. (serious hat on) I really don't know how you can be a victim your entire life. I mean yes women have issues that men don't but come one. To blame every single thing in your life because "men are pigs" is naive at best and dumb at the worst. Sure some men are a holes but to put all of us in that category because you dated "some jerk" is a bit much. I'd suggest to them (huff post and jezebel) to stop looking for all the bad things men do and focus on the good things we do. "The world is a dangerous place, not because men are evil, but because of those women who look on and do nothing."

The idea that you are on some crusade against men is pretty out there. I mean to devote your daily life to.
Hmm what are men doing today that is sticking it to women. That type of mentality I can't understand. Offline

I don't see the point of waging a "war" against men or women.
What do they expect to gain by constantly moaning about men ? They want sympathy from other women ? They want men to be puppy dogs that do exactly as women say ? I don't get it. |
