Actually, it's not the color I prefer, rather how they're designed. The black one's tail looks stupid Imo, and the white one has a huge ***!

you should at least play Heart Gold or Soul Silver first. They are the sequal to red/blue/yellow but contain alot of pokemon from ruby and saphire and pearl and diamond

While not exactly what I was thinking for the white one, I agree with picking it because of the design. The black was rather meh.

Haha yeah, I actually didn't notice the white one's appendage until I posted that. But I hate the black one's tail, I can't get over it. :{
