Patience, crafting, sponsoring, LS payouts, BCNM/KSNM, farming the right drops at the right time, old money... plenty of ways.

Isnt that atleast 2-3+ years of saving? I dont think anyone really has that kind of patience ;o

The people in this thread do :P It doesn't have to take that long though. Sath started fresh in... March, I think. He's likely to finish his Bravura by the end of the year. Mind you, he knows this game's economic system inside and out.

I've only been playing the game a little over a year, and the past few months gil is gotten way hard to get. My only resort of cash is fishing. :/

Fishing has been my moneymaker lately too, aside from the usual BCNM/KSNM/ISNM stuff. I've messed around with other crafts, but I can't decide whether I want to take up cooking (steady gil, multiplies my income from fishing) or go for broke with a big money craft.

I'm trying to save all my seals before I go event crazy.
I got cooking up very high, and if you got the right job to farm your ingredients then its a perfect money maker. Only thing I buy off the AH is the crystals.
