I did recently post on reddit after never using it but I'm seeing people like to downvote anyone they disagree with and report them and then block. Its not very friendly! As far as BG, I stopped posting there for the most part. Just an echo chamber and anyone they disagree with they personally attack and try to shout down. Its sad people cant disagree without resorting to childish tactics these days. Here its more middle ground, still get people who use the voting system to keep some weird popularity contest but otherwise it's reasonable.
