Invisible Private Messages Are Piling Up

A couple weeks ago, I got a private message, which was listed on my account as New (1) on the upper right corner, and on my account page it said my main account had an unread message as Asura.Geriond (1). However, my inbox was shown as empty, while the numbering was listed as "1-30 of 30".

I just got another PM that I can't see, so now it says I have two unread on both screens.

My invisible replies are piling up too

Make a new account. That will clear everything up.

Have you tried changing the user selected? I've had it a few times where someone has DM'd my ffxiah username and not the character belonging to the world.
This selection box is what I mean, if image works.

I have, yes, but it doesn't change anything regarding the messages.
