After maintenance i saw this cute little trust Matsui-P so cute ^^ he is a ninja :)

Honestly better than expected, he keeps up shadows and migawari so very survivable, basically uses ayame's ws rules but with katana so he sets up SCs predictably and even says in chat the sc property you need to close and he MBs with ninjutsu + t1 nukes. He uses ninjutsu buffs and enfeebles + burn.

Still not a ton of use but I could see using him for fights where other trusts just die instantly and maybe for SC trials although then the MBs hurt a bit.

Looks like he can double MB for 7k+ on Apex Crab, so kinda like Shantotto?

Just tested him out for this month's Deeds HTBF. This is close to what I thought for a NIN/BLM. For MB, he tries to go twice: first one is T3 NIN nuke of element, 2nd 1 is T1 BLM nuke of same element. They must have done this so he could MB 2x per SC, and it's an interesting way to make that possible.



He also seems to have some perma-MAB buff on which makes his nuke damage somewhat decent. Monberaux's Magic Attack Bonus drink did "No effect" to him. But I think that should pair with Star Sibyl at least. Will have to try that next.



Also, uses Futae and Sange, announces SC and when he has TP (which is fast), and his magic accuracy is set remarkably high. He was able to land Yurin, Burn (despite it being from BLM sub), and Aisha 1/1 on VD HTBF AAMR. Also uses Migawari/San/Kakka/Myoshu Ichi buffs on self. Didn't get to see what else he could do, but so far I'm please with how they carried out this design, it is very close to what I had in mind. Gotta check if he uses Innin, as I didn't specifically position him behind monster to see Just checked log, it's part of his buff cycle before running in to attack.

(I used AAHM + Matsui-P while on NIN and it was fun having 3 front line melee that couldn't be hit by single target attacks)

He does seem to cast stun often to stop enemy TP moves

He used Innin twice for me. I think he is using it when there is tank trust in party (including Monberaux)

If what you guys are saying is how it behaves, then this trust, from my PoV is awesome.

Tank that open skillchains is like a go to trust for solo CP farming on apex. Bursting is icing the cake. Stunning tp moves is a deluxe icing the cake.

No wonder it was nerfed. If its burst could reach something like 10k or if he gains tp too quickly then it would be indeed overpowered, way better than average player given so many roles it plays.

I was honestly surprised. Gonna make sure to add this on my CP bot >.>

And its too flashy using Su5 +mythic katana.

He probably uses it on timer to reset the decay. There's nothing in his logic regarding using it for stances, and he doesn't have yonin either. I used him on geomancer and he always starts fight with it. Innin boosts ninjutsu damage

That's not mythic katana, anahera/deacon saber (sword). He's disjoined tarutaru without the mask.

He's not a tank. Support job is black mage, has no hate tools and doesn't even use yonin.

MAYBE ITS REALLY MATUSI ACTUAL CHARACTER OR GIVING US HINTS THAT HE MAY BUFF NINJA AND ITS HIS MAIN!!!

Or maybe this trust is buff to Ninja!

The trust is a cool idea and all... but I think trust slots are already kind of at a premium. Ain't no room for you, brah!

Sounds exactly like something the ol' Brady guide would have come up with. Actually, mine was trashed a long time ago because the glue in the spine's binding crapped out and the book fell apart. Anybody still have an old Brady guide around and can check the Ninja subjob suggestions? I wonder if /BLM is on there.





IMO: The Stun lets this little guy take Zeid II's place if he and Shantotto II can get along making skillchains. Not for all content, but for some things.

Also, yes. I do think I'm very clever using a more recent meme instead of 5 year old ones.

I'll have to dig thru my boxes, but I'm pretty sure my brady guide is intact.

Back in the day of ninjutsu elemental wheel spam for damage (5 minutes in history) blm was the ideal sub for that Magic Attack Bonus trait!
