XIView Chat Font Change

Hi all,

Back in the day, there was a chat font change mod called Brandson's UI or something similar. I've tried to search for it, but of course being 10+ years ago, it's no longer hosted.

I then found multiple mentions that XIView could do this. I've followed the video for making XI beautiful in 2020 and the game looks great! Except for the chat font... does anyone know if there's a way to get that old UI back, either through XIView or some other mod?

I am not sure if it is the font you are looking for but there is an additional font included in Caradog's XiView under the "Other" section: https://github.com/Caradog/XI-View

Thanks for the follow-up, Laruni. I've tried to change through "Others" and tried to change the Font or the Pointers, following the guides, but nothing gets updated.

Do people generally just stick to base game font? It's so...bad. lol

It'll take you a bit of manual effort to make some fonts look good in game though, just be forewarned.
