The guy basically admitted to hacking and stealing several accounts, one of which could have possibly lead to a suicide, and "he was feeling sorry for it" which lead to a lot of question about the truthfulness of the post (either feeling sorry or the whole post in general). Mind you, it was under the guise of a freshly created character profile with that character never posted before.

I clicked on the person and saw it was somebody from Asura, but I forget who the character's name associated with the account was. The account name is helloworld1 though.

the person said the original owner needed the money for kids and family and did the deed days later (for that particular one) and "that's the only time they've felt bad for; the rest [of the people they stole from] should've known better".

Worst thing I ever did: Exposed someone for being a fraud.

Worst thing that someone did to me: I had been after Xolotl's gloves for a long time. We had ToD and had been killing for a week. One day, the gloves finally dropped. A guy who was mad because he lost roll to me disbanded the alliance, lost all loot.

Only thing I have ever felt bad about involved the Auction House.
Put up a Lv75 body (forget what it was) but remember it was a 100k tops item.
Well someone overpaid and I got my 1st ever 1mil.
This was way back in the days when I was just getting started, was still farming bee hive chips as the best way for making gil.

Back on quetz, there was this guy that was dying from a disease regarding his lungs. He eventually lived in time to get a transplant. He was a SMN main and someone ninja’d his Ying Yang Robe.

The server got together and helped him get it. I was there as well.

Was a good night.

Did the testing to find out that schah wasn't invincible/reduced damage until the second add spawn and did rough math to figure out at the time that we needed 3 summoners worth of AF to kill him in time.

I was probably one of the most if not the most hated person of Unicorn at some point.
I mostly called ***people "***" and showed no tolerance for people who had inflated egos.

People often tell me that they miss how I was back then, I find it funny because I don't.

I helped a lot of people along the years but I think the best thing I did in the end was turn down that woman who wanted to cybersex during Sky runs and help her patch things up with her husband instead.

back in 2004 early 2005 after CoP was released, i made a group to level in bibiki bay dhalmals as it was the new place to level from 60 to 75. upon reaching camp, i checked the brd's bazaar to find a vermillion cloak for 100k, it was worth 10m~. i checked ah, and said no way and i brought it. the brd checks his inventory and realizing it is gone, sends me a tell. asking me if i saw the cloak. i said yes. he then asks for it back. i said why is it in your bazaar you should be wearing it. he said i had it there to show off when i was on my dd job and i changed to brd. as he is telling me this, his entire linkshell and friends list are spam telling me to give it back or else.

none of the threats came from the brd he was nice and just upset and begging me to return it as he had spent weeks farming gil to buy one.

being the 14 year old nyc gangsta i was not taking kindly to no threats.

i told him to "thank his "friends" because i'm keeping it to spite them/teach them a lesson. i wont sell it for my mages jobs and if i feel nice ill give it back later."

he was so upset, he quit a few days later.

I've tried for awhile to think of things I've done bad that I have regretted and the only things I have done that I have lived to regret in this game would be considered nice things or helping undeserving people.

One of the more memorable "good" things I did was took someone's bot farming Ladybug wings on a little trip over to the high level orcs in East Ronfaure [S] so when the player came back from AFK he was dead/homepointed. I did that for several nights before he changed his bot to ignore ladybugs called for help on.

Probably the worst "bad" thing I ever did was when I first started playing this during the middle of the CoP era when that content was still slowly trickling out. I had three friends that all played and who got me into it, but then they quit maybe a billing cycle after I joined. They had fish-botted hard and all gave me their accounts to strip because they had moved onto WoW.

That wasn't really that horrible since they did quit, but I knew it was fishbotted gil. My dirty unclean Noble's Tunic was bought with a sold Lu Shangs back when a Noble's Tunic was like 13,000,000.

Back on Pandemonium I was in a shell called WolfPack and we were popular with GMs because of how much we MPK'd people for various reasons.

When SE finally made changes to stop MPKs, (Dec 2005?) one of the GMs came into our LS chat to announce the changes to us.

As a former pandy resident (where Cele was 1st created) I do remember that pearl :)

Not really a confession but a stupid thing:

15-16 years ago I took great offense to a fish botter for some reason, I called a GM and waited for them to arrive to deal with it. They didn't come or even reply of course, so after an hour I decided to deal with it myself. I trained a mass of aggro monsters onto them and killed them, they just ran back a few minutes later and continued fishing.

Little did I know the GM I called was there and watching, and the GM I called decided to send me to mordion for what I just did. They even told me they were there from my call.

I thought it was just a goof and they would see the funny side, they didn't and gave me a 4 week temp ban that went on my perma record. They even told me that this would always be on my account and anything I ever did ever again would lead to account termination.
