Legal or not, that doesn't stop most people. People can sell things with song lyrics embroidered on them which are copyrighted. I don't think the companies would care so much unless someone was making a killing with their material.

Update!
I've decided to sell an un-assembled version of the dagger as well. The buyer will be required to glue and assemble the dagger themselves.
If you're crafty and want to save a few bucks, this kit is for you.

I am going to bet there is a way around that when it comes to fan made goods in the likeness of something. If not, the likelihood of them going after him is almost 0. Ive seen countless things being sold, even at high prices, for statues, shirts, any kind of merchandise and those people are still around. The only thing ive heard of getting shut down are actual fan made video games.
Everybody talks about the "10% rule" with regards to this stuff. If it's 10% different (however the hell you measure that) then it's legal.

I'm curious how the Excalibur would turn out in size, since that Mandau looks pretty big in the images shown off so far. Also, would it be possible to do something like the Ochain with this method?
Wanted to tease everybody with an update to the Elemental Staff build. First prototype just came off the printer. Very happy with it, but needs some tweaking. The quality isn't to my liking yet. The design will thread into a broom handle thread, so you you can sand/stain your own wooden handle very easily and cheaply.
