Why did you have to ask the stupid question? Summoner is fine, don't *** with it.
SMN job adjustment will be you have to be within 5 yalms of your pet like BST to initiate actions to the avatar. PUP adjustment to follow in the same patch to equalize all pet jobs.

It hasn't been. There are plenty of months where Summoner is not at all useful in Ambu. I don't know what you are smoking frankly.

No chance you get Phoenix or siren, but it's about time summoner got Bahamut. He's a legend in every FF game, and as long as you can't use him with afac, I think it'd be a nice addition.
Why no chance for Siren? She is already in as a dat with battle animations. Phoenix is the only one that is a "just stand there" dat, so she is the most far-fetched as far as I can guess. Honestly, with the way they are going back and revamping old Avatar battlefields, I don't see a "no chance" at anything avatar-related at this point.
I know this is very dead horse, but still... there has to be something that happens if we beat the dead horse long enough.

Isn't siren just Teles, or is there another siren in the dats?
Teles and then the plain Siren from an early force-spawn fight in the jungle for Rhapsody of Vanadiel.
They're the same model afaik, but Siren was used in one of the first rhapsodies fights in Yuhtunga jungle.
Ok I forgot about that one.
Bahamut, Phoenix, and Siren all have wings, but Fat chocobo has wings that lead him right into my heart.
