Page says can check moogle the 11th, click page and says numbers revealed the 19th. someone not on the same page at SE.
I did not see any numbers when I logged in.
Was there a point where the numbers/moogles did show up? They had been saying the 19th. As mentioned, it's not just that the moogles aren't there, the numbers weren't in the server message as they'd typically be.

Message sure reads like they accidentally trusted the client again and left the bonanza moogle in an exploitable state. Was fixed awfully quickly though if that were the case(~2hr after it went up?), so maybe it was just the date mixup.
How is it there are already 5 rank 1 winners if the numbers are yet to be announced?
I get how internally the numbers have already be drawn but this just comes off as suspicious or amateurishly.

I saw the announcement on JP Twitter. Looks like they released the winning numbers and then noticed an issue with the Bonanza NPC and weirdly pulled it. I didn't play anyways so I didn't log on in time to see it
They usually don't do it right when the update drops but about a week later.

There was an exploit like that a long time ago where you could force a goblin (can't remember which) to give you crap. Like any item in game. Don't know the details about it, old LS leader spoke about it, but I'm pretty sure people were either suspended or banned for it.
blatant racist shouts can do so as well. You should ask Samusaron.Shiva about that... or whatever his new account is I forget but you can figure it out pretty easy whenever someone starts several hours of shouting about Hiep lol

Back then, yeah, rules still applied.
There've been well over a dozen exploits that either gave you any item or items out of a range due to buffer overflows. It would not shock me if they made a mistake resulting in that being possible on bonanza moogle, but it has never been possible on the bonanza moogle in the past.

no good exploit has ever been doable with just ase, it's always modified packets
batallia meebles one was 4-5 years back, didnt give you 'any' item but let you overflow about 65k values so a good portion of the items in the game could be found in it(though with duplicates and invalid ids, not all)
