Didn't Trump want to use concrete, but it was the Democrats who have been forcing steel as a compromise?
Either way, no wall is indestructible. It's just disingenuous to call it a failure on Trump's part. It's just disingenuous to call it a failure on Trump's part. No, that's a lie that he has taken to. The Dems have never mentioned a steel wall, they haven't moved off their original position of no stupid wall of any kind. Trump didn't "compromise" on steel, he came up with it all in his own and lied about it being a Democrat request Lol that is never gonna happen. Land mines, really?
Chanti,
I think this is more hypocrisy from the left. How many times has media gone off about Trumps language? They were so offended and made a big deal of it and now all of a sudden because a dem does it it's no big deal. In across the pond news:
Labour set to call vote to topple Theresa May’s government Opposition MPs told to get ready for no-confidence vote as top Tories admit they see no hope for PM’s Brexit deal The Guardian Slore in just what universe is member of congress saying *** worse than a member of congress defending white nationalism? Do Republicans get an "oh that's just Steve" pass in the media? And for extra points: Is this an example of liberal bias in the mainstream media? If so, please explain just how. In what universe does one graph without context disprove the mountain of evidence of liberal bias in the media?
Holy freaking **** department:
Former CIA Agent Accuses Trump of Being a 'Traitor' Who 'Betrayed' America After New York Times Report Newsweek. Also, for Ravael: Study: Hillary Clinton’s emails got as much front-page coverage in 6 days as policy did in 69 A stark finding from an analysis of New York Times coverage. Vox The oh so liberal NY Times did more to sink Hillary than any other print media. Holy freaking **** department:
Trump has concealed details of his face-to-face encounters with Putin from senior officials in administration WaPo Quote: ... The constraints that Trump imposed are part of a broader pattern by the president of shielding his communications with Putin from public scrutiny and preventing even high-ranking officials in his own administration from fully knowing what he has told one of the United States’ main adversaries. As a result, U.S. officials said there is no detailed record, even in classified files, of Trump’s face-to-face interactions with the Russian leader at five locations over the past two years. Such a gap would be unusual in any presidency, let alone one that Russia sought to install through what U.S. intelligence agencies have described as an unprecedented campaign of election interference.... Yea, expect some subpoenas for that nonsense. What is Trump hiding this time?
Garuda.Chanti said: » The oh so liberal NY Times did more to sink Hillary than any other print media. That's not because they're not liberals, it's because they're idiots. Just like the media in general is too dumb to notice that the constant, negative Trump coverage helped get him elected (and isn't exactly hurting him now either). Viciouss said: » Yea, expect some subpoenas for that nonsense. What is Trump hiding this time? Who or what would they subpoena? If there are no records, and the interpreters are off limits for reasons of impartiality, what does that leave? I am outraged that Trump would go out of his way to prevent ammunition from getting into the hands of the people who have been trying to destroy him. He owes them the meeting notes so that a CNN panel can spend 16 hours turning every word said in the meetings into proof of treason. Details below if you want them. The second option won't happen either as it's intended to be voted down, which only leaves option three. As for the Labour Party, they're also *** useless. Corbyn is a useless Marxist who even Bernie Sanders would look at and say "reel in in a bit". This mess can only be resolved by sensible, moderate Conservatives going to the nation and being brutally honest about the reality of the situation. She isn't dead. It wouldn't be "easy". Did you read the article? The purpose of an interpreter isn't to be a stenographer or record-keeper of everything that is said in a meeting, it's to be an impartial translator. That's it. Quote: Alarmed by the secrecy of Trump’s meeting with Putin, several lawmakers subsequently sought to compel Gross to testify before Congress about what she witnessed. Others argued that forcing her to do so would violate the impartial role that interpreters play in diplomacy. Gross was not forced to testify. She was identified when members of Congress sought to speak with her. The interpreter in Hamburg has not been identified. You can't even get everyone on your side to agree that forcing an interpreter to testify is even legal. Good luck. Offline

Corbyn is a useless Marxist who even Bernie Sanders would look at and say "reel in in a bit". This mess can only be resolved by sensible, moderate Conservatives going to the nation and being brutally honest about the reality of the situation. So your saying they are deliberately trying to subvert an election? There won't be a "second referendum" as the decision has already been made, if your party doesn't win you don't get to call a "do over". The first would be the best in the long term, the EU is but a fraction of the world and everyone else, along with the two largest economies, gets along just fine without them. Saying it would ruin the UK's economy is fear mongering and no different the claiming not being a christian would absolutely ruin a person's morality. What it will do is greatly impact the EU's economy and force the net contributing nations to pay more to the non-net member nations. The UK is the third largest net-contributor and detaching itself would free up quite a bit of cash to be used elsewhere. What it boils down to is this, the political elite make a killing by being part of the EU, it's a system designed to enrich the ruling oligarchy. When they proposed the question they never thought the population would vote to leave. Ever since the leave vote happened the same ruling elite has been doing everything it can to circumvent that ruling. And aren't you living in New Zealand? Didn't know NZ was part of the EU, wait it's not. Holy ***how can you survive being in the post apocalyptic nightmare that is not living in a EU member state? How can NZ possibly survive without that unified market and Brussels enforced trade laws? Don't you have to stand in food lines for hours? Tell us the utter horror of not being in the EU, we can make a Lifetime movie about it. Offline

Trump and Putin sitting in a tree K I S S I N G
First comes love second comes marriage third comes Russian collusion in a baby carriage ! WOOOO Democrats rule the world !!!! Americans blame shutdown on Trump over Democrats by wide margin, poll finds
USA Today Quote: ... When asked, "Who do you think is mainly responsible for this situation?" 53 percent of Americans told pollsters they blamed Trump and congressional Republicans. A much smaller 29 percent blamed Democrats and another 13 percent said both sides were equally responsible. Four percent had no opinion.... When asked, "Who do you think is mainly responsible for this situation?" 53 percent of Americans told pollsters they blamed Trump and congressional Republicans. And yet polls suggest that support for the wall is going up, which could mean that some people "blame" Trump for the shutdown but want him to succeed anyway. The Democrat messaging strategy is working better than even they could expect, lie low and let the Trump admin hog all the airtime and self-destruct. They have an old white guy go out there with a smile on his face and say the furloughed workers are better off because they are on (unpaid) vacation without actually having to use their vacation time. That's brilliant.
Those initial poll numbers aren't going to change, a majority of the country will always oppose the wall and a majority will always blame Trump for his shutdown. Just open the government, we aren't building a wall. Bahamut.Ravael said: » Garuda.Chanti said: » Americans blame shutdown on Trump over Democrats by wide margin, poll finds USA Today Quote: ...
