Factory Rejects
VD 40 attempts: zero cards D 20 attempts: 2 cards (GEO, BST) First attempt on D, got GEO. 15th attempt got Bst. Factory Rejects has fewer monsters (5 dolls), but they each have up to 3 drop slots so it's actually ~the same number of potential drops as Worm's Turn.
I've gotten 2 cards from it on VD and 1 on D at this point. NIN, PUP, BLU (none of which I have any real intention of gearing). Well you can still exchange unwanted cards for wanted ones at the goblin in Reisenjima.
...oh wait. I can't swear this list is comprehensive, but so far I've seen:
You can see that most items are split into common and rare groups. For instance, the rare version of a Firework is the Meteor scroll. The rare form of REM Tales is a job card. etc. I average a little more than 4 drops per VD Factory Rejects BC with TH4. So every time I enter, I have about a 5% chance of getting a job card. I want job cards for about a fifth of the jobs, so I have about a 1% chance of getting a job card I want. Campaign mathematically blows. Offline
But Byrth it's totally ok because you can do these many times a day while omen you can only do once a day... I mean sure you have to do several hundred of these in order to get as many cards as a single omen run but that's totally balanced out by the fact you can do thousands in a day right?

Out of how many runs if you don't me asking if you have those numbers? I did a test run with total of 40 runs on THF and WAR. 10 VD w/TH, 10 VD w/o TH, 10 D w/TH, and 10 w/o TH. Very small sample size, but kind of wanted to get a feel for these. I got no cards for any of the VD, 1 for D w/TH, and 1 w/o TH. I've actually gotten 1 more item, from my VD w/TH compared to my run without. More REM and fireworks w/TH for the D runs. ...I think my TH is broken. Went WAR till now just to for fast kill and not having to pay attention. For VD with TH4, 275 drops now out of 314 kills (7/8 drop rate), but the theoretical average should be a little higher because the final doll has a 100% drop slot and I've wiped a few times.
Also, the setup is something like: Worm's Tail trash mob = 1 slot with a shitty drop rate Flayer Franz = 1 100% slot Factory Rejects trash mob (the first 4 dolls) = 3 slots of shitty drop rate Factory Rejects final mob = 1 100% slot and 3 slots of shitty drop rate So my drop rate is actually more like: (0.875 drop rate observe*5 monster - 1 100% drop) = 3.375 drops from the shitty drop slots 3.375 drops/15 chances = 0.225 drops/shitty drop slot So for worms, I'd predict each trash monster would have a ~1/4 drop rate on VD, which I think is about what I estimated earlier when I was doing VD worm's tail. Okay, so the loot pools for the different BCNMs are not totally identical.
The vast majority is the same: https://www.bg-wiki.com/bg/Factory_Rejects_II Two differences: 1) Factory Rejects II, Worm's Tail II, and Steamed Sprouts II all drop 119 AF Job Ingredient upgrade items (Twill Damask, Orichalcum Sheet, etc.) Instead of that, Tails of Woe II drops Etched Memories. 2) The other slot: * Factory Rejects II drops 119 AF Slot Ingredient Upgrade items (Hepatizon ingot, etc.) * Worm's Tail II drops 119 Relic Slot Ingredient upgrade items from Delve (Rockfin tooth, etc.) * Steamed Sprouts II drops 119 Relic Job Ingredient upgrade items from Voidwatch (Hahava's Mail, etc.) * Tails of Woe II drops 119 Empyrean Job Ingredient upgrade items from Vagary (Dark Matter, etc.) The drop rate on the Delve/Voidwatch/Empyrean items is ***, on the order of 1-2% per orb. Hepatizon Ingots and stuff are substantially higher, maybe more like 5% per orb. As far as cards: |
